Pre-Qualification Mortgage Application

Now it's easy to get your mortgage loan application started online with M&F Bank.

Please be aware that this application is for Mississippi Properties only. Any applications submitted for properties located outside the state of Mississippi will not be processed. If you would like to submit an application for a property located in Mississippi, please read the following list of documents that will be needed for Merchants & Farmers to process your application once you have been pre-qualified and contacted by one of our mortgage loan officers.

• Last two years' W2 forms
• Most recent 30-day pay stub
• Source of down payment; and past two months' checking, savings, investment statements
• If refinancing, copy of warranty deed
• If purchasing, need sales contract when executed
• Divorce decree, if applicable
• If you are self-employed:
  • Federal income tax returns for past two years
  • Year-to-date profit and loss statement and balance sheet
  • All schedules for personal and corporate tax returns

Security is the Key

Keep in mind as you are completing your application, that all information exchanged between you and M&F Bank is performed through a Secure Server. This means that any vital information, information you don't want others to see, cannot be accessed by anyone other than you and M&F Bank. Once inside of the application, you will notice a solid gold key or padlock at the bottom of your browser window (Netscape or Internet Explorer), this symbolizes our Secure Server.
